Privacy Policy — Arabic Tools (أدوات عربية)

Arabic Tools ("we", "the app", "the site") is published by the developer of com.arabtools.arab_tools and the website arabictools.app. This policy explains what information the Android app and website use and why.

Information we use

• Location — Only when you use prayer times or the Qibla compass, to calculate schedules and direction. Location is processed on your device and for prayer/Qibla services; we do not sell location data.
• Device sensors — Compass and level tools use motion/orientation sensors locally on your device.
• Local storage — Settings, Tasbih counts, and preferences are stored on your device (browser storage or Android SharedPreferences). We do not operate a user account server.
• Advertising (Google AdMob — Android app) — The free Android app shows ads. Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Advertising (Google AdSense — website) — The free website at arabictools.app may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and personalize ads where permitted. • In-app purchases — Purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation that you bought "Remove ads forever" to hide ads in the Android app; we do not receive your payment card details.

Cookies and similar technologies (website)

When you use arabictools.app, Google AdSense and related services may set cookies or use local storage for advertising, analytics, and consent management. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Account settings and, where shown, through our consent message for users in regions that require it.

Permissions (Android app)

The app may request: Internet (ads, currency rates), network state, location (prayer/Qibla), notifications (prayer reminders), vibration, and sensors (compass/level). You can deny location or notifications in system settings; related features may not work.

Third-party services

• Google AdMob — advertising in the Android app
• Google AdSense — advertising on the website
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases
• Google Play Services — as required by the above
• Open-Meteo — geocoding for place search (prayer times)
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — reverse geocoding for city names
• open.er-api.com — live currency exchange rates

Children

The app and site are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

Data stored on your device remains until you clear app/site data or uninstall. Ad-related data is handled by Google per their policies.

Your choices

• Remove ads in the Android app with a one-time in-app purchase.
• Reset ad personalization via your Google account or device settings.
• Revoke location or notification permissions in Android settings.
• Control cookies through your browser settings and Google ad settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
